A Kingdom Reborn by AmmNIwriter-rec'd by Nic
King Edward is without an heir and his wife has miscarried yet another baby. Once rid of his 'barren queen' his eye roves for a new wife. Duty, loyalty and threats will bring England a queen who will change their king. Rated M

Compassion Holding its Breath by Maruxf-rec'd by Fanfic Maplestyle
Twilight always felt as if it had started from a much more "adult" place than the books showed; as if an editor had said "this is good, but let's clean it up for young adults." But really...why is Bella so insecure and where does Edward's self-loathing truly come from? Rosalie's festering hostility? Esme's truncated yearnings? Carlisle's regrets? This is a grown-ups Twilight. Rated M

Drinking Problems by Badjujube-rec'd by Evilnat
"How can you teach a vampire to abstain from humans?" I asked Carlisle. "Starve them and take them to the zoo?" He shook his head at me and smiled. "Rehab," he said. Rehab for vampires. It was the worst idea I'd ever heard. Rated M

Everything I Needed by AgoodWITCH-rec'd by Nic
Bella had been lucky to land the job as the nanny to Esme and Carlisle's two girls, but when Carlisle's younger brother arrives in New York in need of a fresh start and some help with his own brood, Bella's world is quickly turned upside down. It was just supposed to be a job, but they quickly became everything she needed. Rated M

Fate, Love and Second Chances by Nightviz-rec'd by Nic
Tragedy brought them together, perfection seemingly found between two imperfect beings. Bella is a nurse, Edward a firefighter-paramedic, both are in need of a miracle. Friendship grows into love, but a misunderstanding changes everything, and an already broken Edward hits rock bottom. Can they rebuild their lives together through the complications caused by their mistakes? Rated M

Foolish Hearts by LyricalKris-rec'd by Cappricorn75
The Oregon Trail. Over 2,000 miles of unforgiving wilderness stretches between Bella and a new life. Edward knew from experience the trail was no place for young love, but then, his heart was known to be foolish. Rated M

I Belong With You by Twilightladies-rec'd by Nic
In those moments, I realize it's over. Planning to follow you to the same college is not an option. I can't be near you and watch you love another. With one last glance at my past, I turn and go back the way I came. I don't see you turning around or the smile that falls from your face when you see me.
Rated M

Infinite Visibility by TheFicChick-rec’d by Twific Crackmum
"Bella, I'm not perfect." "I've loved perfect before, and he broke me anyway." (A "Twilight"/"Remember Me" crossover.) Rated M.

Letters to Edward Cullen by Typicaltwilightbitch-rec'd by Coppertop Johnson/Nic
He'd grown up. He was no longer the Vans wearing, fun loving, free-spirited guy I loved. He wore a suit. The Vans were gone and so was his attitude. The letters I had were the only reminder of that Edward. Of the Edward I loved. CANON. Rated M

Masen Manor by Drotuno-rec'd by Twific Crackmum/Evilnat
Masen Manor, home to a prestigious boarding school, Masen Academy. An immortal hiding from the world has his faith tested by a hundred-year-old fortune and a broken, silent girl. Rated M

My Backwards Walk by Musicalvoice-rec'd by Nic
Despite Edward's best attempts, he and Bella aren't together. But every Friday, like clockwork, she ends up at his apartment in the early hours. This is a story about wanting, having and the messiness it entails. Rated M

My Heart My Home by Edward's Eternal-rec'd by Midnight Cougar
Edward Cullen, constantly in the spotlight, sought after British actor has had problems with his staff. He needs a new housekeeper. Bella, his manager's sister, is in a tight spot and needs a job. They meet … they talk … they bond. But how deep does the bond go? Can either of them figure it out? Will he realize what he already has? Rated M

One Day by RueforRegret-rec'd by Sixdlb5
Over a quarter of a century separates single-mother Bella Swan from her hormone-riddled adolescence. Watching her teenaged daughter navigate her way through various rites of passage, Bella can't help falling prey to nostalgia. "One Day" brims with steamy reminiscences of first love and traces one woman's mid-life attempt to reclaim it. ExB, AH, mild angst, M-Rated 18 & over.

Run to You by Ericastwilight-rec'd by Evilnat
Day after day for a week, he watched her. He wanted to know her, talk to her, and eventually touch her. The problem was he never had to chase. Will he have to run to catch up? Rated M

Shelter by Marvar-rec'd by Twilover76
Two people. One night. No power. Can two people fall for each other as they seek shelter? Rated M because Edward has a British accent and wears suspenders. My birthday present for Cosmogirl7481. Rated M

The Almost by Lola-pops-rec'd by Nic/Vampshavelaws
Flannel. Weed. Nirvana. One fall day changes everything. Five friends navigate high school, relationships and their futures. Rated M

The Opposite Effect by Staceleo-rec'd by Nic/Evilnat
Bella Swan didn't believe that opposites attract, until Edward Cullen and his awful hair came into her orbit. A comedy about finding love in the most unlikely of places. Rated M

The Penitent by Counselor-rec'd by TGBMcCray
A Cathedral at midnight. Bella never celebrated. Edward never seen. She's dried leaves. Is that his trench-coat flapping or a pair of broken wings? The world is ending. It's time for her to come out of her cocoon. It's time for Edward to fly. Rated M

To Destroy by Walkingwithgiants-rec'd by Evilnat
In the words of Abe Lincoln, "The best way to destroy an enemy is to make him a friend." Bella works for a man that makes her teeth grind. "My boss is an asshole," she cried. Rated M

Volturi Bed & Breakfast by Lovespotionbrewer-rec'd by Twific Crackmum
Bella Swan makes the only logical decision when her father dies a year before she graduates from college. She buys a Vermont Bed and Breakfast with the unexpected inheritance. Edward is a native Vermonter who thinks he knows everything about the kind of person who moves into his State.
Rated M

  1. I'm also enjoying A Light in the Darkness by JenRar

  2. Thanks so much for featuring My Backwards Walk!

  3. I really enjoyed "Shelter" and I'm so enthalled with "Masen Manor" right now. I look forward to Sundays not because it's the weekend (because I work weekends), but because I can't wait to rush home to catch up with the goings on at the Manor! Thanks for adding to my TBR list.:)
