TLS Special SNEAK PEEK Feature

The Lemonade Stand has spent so many years bringing you the best the Twilight fandom has to offer, and we are very excited to have the chance to offer you even MORE. We've watched stories grow and develop from first post through COMPLETE, and now we're lucky enough to share previews of the stories that will soon be your new addiction.

When a fandom favorite author posts "Coming Soon" on her facebook wall, we start counting down the days before we can feature a Sneak Peek! This week, we are thrilled to share an excerpt of Planetblue's new fic, Zuma. She's given us favorites like Deviant, Badlands, Artful Maneuvers and Crazy Like That and we are certain this new one will lead fic discussions for weeks to come.

Summary: He may be dating my step-sister, but it doesn’t stop me from wishing he were mine.

~ oOo ~

Once upon a time, a certain wanna-be writer completed her first fic and wondered what she should write next?

Her thoughts immediately went to a time in her youth that always fascinated her as an adult.

The 1970s.

She was just 8 or 9 when she'd watch her older siblings, their friends, and her babysitter partake in such nifty things like roller skating, socks that went up to your knees, feathered hair, and wearing satin shorts. She thought illicit smoking sessions surrounding an ashtray while you sat on the floor of your best friend's room listening to Fleetwood Mac was probably the best way to spend an afternoon.

However, a certain mustachioed biker man with an ego problem came into her life, and her dreams of the 70's were put out like a disco inferno.

She's happy to say that seven years later, that 70's story has resurfaced, and what better time of the year to give you a Southern California story set in the summer of 1978?

How about right now?

One Day at a Time and The Love Boat! Grease and Animal House! Van Halen and the Bee Gees! And let's not forget Tab in a two-liter glass bottle and Hawaiian Punch in a can you had to poke holes in the top to pour!

Boogie down memory lane with me, won't you?

~ oOo ~

The hot California sun kisses my bare legs as they hang out the window of Jacob’s car, a beat up ’67 Charger that he loves more than me, a fact we’re both aware of. We’re driving to Frosty Freeze, our daily trip for ice cream in a summer that feels like it’s screeching towards its end even though it’s just begun. I’m already late for work, but I don’t care all that much, which is basically how I feel about most things.

I push the hair flying around my face out of the way, just in time to see him in the parking lot at Zuma beach.

Edward Cullen.

His golden shoulders glisten with salty ocean water, his old denim cutoffs lay unbuttoned and hanging dangerously low around his hips. A white t-shirt sticks out of his back pocket, waiting to be put back on.

With his right hand he slings the yellow and blue surfboard easily under his arm, and with the left, he pulls Rosalie Hale’s bikini clad body into his own.

I lick my lips and squeeze my thighs together, knowing that in just a few short hours, he’ll be sitting across from me at dinner, eating whatever Renee makes from the helpful housewife advertisements she sees during The Carol Burnett Show.

He may be dating my step-sister, but it doesn’t stop me from wishing he were mine.

What do you get when you combine two supremely gifted, creative, first-rate writers? Sprinkle in one of your very favorite writer/pre-readers and two of the best betas, this fandom has....You get the amazing writing team of BlueMeadow!! When I heard that planetblue and Honeybeemeadows were collaborating on a fic, I was thrilled and intrigued. I approached them immediately, to offer them a forum to showcase their debut and offer any support I could lend. While I have worked with planetblue on quite a few Sneak Peeks, this is my first opportunity to work with Bee, and I’m really excited to cheer these ladies on. I hope you will join me in giving them support and encouragement, as we embark upon their principal debut!

~ . ~    ~ . ~

We kid you not, this story took four years to write:

2013: Blue is posting Badlands. Bee is posting The Other Way. They fall in mutual love over music, tattoos, and writing.

February 20, 2014: Blue and Bee meet in a Chuy’s parking lot in Houston, Texas. They drink margaritas with Hadley Hemingway and CarrieZM. It’s awkward and awesome.

February 21, 2014: Blue and Bee have copious amounts of alcohol while wearing Mardi Gras masks and posing Edward dolls on a kitchen table at Jiff Simpson’s house in Texas. Someone suggests they write together. Both of them laugh it off.

February 22, 2014: Bee shows Blue a picture of the next character she wants to write and Blue is on board… they start throwing out ideas about how to write it, who their characters are, etc. on Hadley Hemingway’s patio while Breaking Dawn plays in the background.

February 23, 2014: Blue flies home. Bee creates a gdoc.

March 2014: Bee writes chapter one.

March 2014: Blue writes chapter two.

March 2014: Blue is asked to contribute to the Sinners compilation, how can she say no? Seven deadly sins and hers is Lust? Gotta do it.

March 2014: Blue finishes 12 weeks of posting Badlands and it totally consumes her like a guy wearing eyeliner. She feels like she’ll never be able to write anything else ever again.

May 2014: Bee ignores that shared google doc. She starts writing Don’t Look, No Promises because she is obsessing hard core over the Arctic Monkeys and boys who slick their hair back.

June 2014: Bee realizes she is pregnant. Commence seven months of non-stop nausea.

July 2014: Blue decides that now would be a good time to get laid off when her company closes, therefore losing the will to write since she only ever wrote at work (not part of the reason the company went under).

July 2014: The baby is eating Bee’s brain. She writes nothing for months.

July 2014: At the TFMU Nashville Meet-Up, Blue is bombarded with Badlands questions and love, further making her think she’ll never write anything good again. Bee is too morning-noon-and-night-sick to even get out of bed, much less get on an airplane.

August 2014: Blue decides that now would be the time to go ahead and suffer a complication from her 2013 mastectomy, and spends four days in the hospital. But hey, she bought a laptop recently so she can write again (if she ever feels like it)!

August 2014: Bee can now balance cupcakes on her baby belly. She writes six pages in the Blue/Bee doc and then deletes four of them.

September 2014: Blue posts Artful Maneuvers, yet another story that isn’t the Blue/Bee one. Feels kind of sad, but it had been months since they had talked about their story, so...

January 2015: Bee submits a one-shot, Star-Shaped Heart, to the May to December contest. She does this while she is in active labor. Because she is a procrastinator. And a masochist. And would have missed the deadline.

January 2015: Small Bee is born via emergency C-section. He’s cute but omg, he fucks up Bee’s body, mind, and writing mojo.

February 2015: Blue’s attempt at remaining jobless gets derailed when someone hires her, and is now unable to spend her days writing because of new job.

March 2015: Fresh off a terrible pregnancy, abdominal surgery, and a sleepless newborn - Bee starts writing Grim and Darling. She feels like an asshole, but she hasn’t talked to Blue about their story in months.

May 2015: Blue publishes another f’ing story, Crazy Like That, started while she was spending her days as a trophy wife.

June 2015: Bee misses another meetup, this one in Philly, because newborns are needy AF.

November 2015: Bee and Blue both decide to enter the Age of Edward contest, and don’t tell each other until it’s almost over. Bee writes Black Wind Blowing, Blue writes The King Of Bowery and Bleecker.

February 2016: Bee flakes AGAIN and writes another contest entry, Lolita and the Suit, for the  Control Possess Seduce contest. She doesn’t tell Blue, because, well, she’s a judge.

April 2016: Blue writes four pages in the Blue/Bee doc. Feels triumphant. But then disappears again.

July 2016: Blue writes Edward Takes a Holiday, feeling guilty about ignoring the Blue/Bee idea that’s still sitting in that gdoc, but does it anyway.

August 2016: Bee writes another page in the gdoc.

September 2016: Jesus, another meet-up that Bee doesn’t go to, this one in San Diego. Blue wonders if Bee is actually avoiding her cause she’s mad.

November 2016: Blue flakes again, picks up a story she’d started months ago, Christmastances, and posts it a month later.

January 2017: “I’m ready if you’re ready.”

January 2017: “I’m ready.”

February - June 2017: Blue has - friend’s 50th birthday party, 25th high school reunion, helps plan bridal shower, goes to Florida, throws huge BBQ, has two deaths in the family, goes to a wedding, attends a graduation party she has to cook for. She has zero time to write.

March 2017: Bee picks up a hobby she hasn’t done since she was ten and wanted to be Laura Ingalls Wilder. She gets obsessed. Has to start bargaining with herself over time spent sewing over time spent writing. It’s a good thing she’s an insomniac.

July 2017: Blue writes a Deviant outtake for the Vegas Meet-Up. Tells Bee, this time.

July 2017: Bee finally gets her shit together and makes it to the meetup in Las Vegas. Bee and Blue are reunited and it feels so good. They spend the weekend drinking champagne and formulating plans. Bee forces Blue into announcing what they’ve been (sort of) doing, in hopes that it will light a fire under their asses.

August 2017: The fire works.

August - October, 2017: Blue and Bee take their doc from 40k to 80k in three months, and have a crazy amount of texts and phone calls. Lots of “What would you do if I did this?” “What would you say if I said that?” “Maybe we should…” “Maybe we could…” “Let’s do that and definitely not the other thing.”

October 2017: Blue writes the ‘last chapter.’

October 2017: Blue and Bee pull up their big girl panties and send their doc to LayAtHomeMom, epic pre-reader. They spend several days biting off their fingernails.

October 2017: Both girls vow to never use a certain word ever again because Lay pointed it out approximately 8,000 times in their 80,000 word story. 7,500 of these are Blue’s fault.

November - December 2017: The holidays begin. Everyone falls off the face of the earth and no one opens the doc for weeks.

January 2018: Hadley and Carrie begin their beta magic. Blue and Bee tap Mina Rivera to help them make a banner because neither of them are tech savvy AT ALL.

February 2018: Blue and Bee start getting chapters back from the betas and realize ‘oh shit, we have a lot of work to do.’

February 2018: Mina is subjected to two hours of ten thousand Facebook messages, Blue and Bee being picky AF. Somehow she manages to please them both. She sends them their banner. They are in love.

March 2018: Bee gets drunk and writes Little Happy Mess on her phone while she’s hiding from the terror toddler. She sidelines Hadley to edit and doesn’t tell Blue until she posts the first chapter. Oops. She promises not to do that again.

May 2018: Blue and Bee finally decide on a mutual author name, title, and summary for their five-year-old baby.

June 9, 2018: Blue and Bee finally present their teaser, banner, and journey with The Lemonade Stand.

June 11, 2018: Point and Shoot, a new story by Planetblue and Honeybeemeadows, now known as BlueMeadow, posts to FF.net. Both girls plan on getting very drunk.

Bee: I feel like we’re about to have a baby.
Blue: Yes, except we have the gestation time of five elephants.
Bee: They probably want to read a summary?
Blue: Yeah, probably.
Bee: Let’s do what we do best!
Blue: Be vague AF?
Bee: Exactly.

Summary:
Two people. Two houses. One field.
Sometimes anger is so much better than sorrow.

He was right there, standing at the gate with his forehead wrinkled, clearing his throat with a rough sound that startled me. I darted to my feet, breath caught in my mouth, ripping the scarf off my face. My face flamed, embarrassed beyond belief that he’d caught me playing pretend with his reality in such a careless way. He was shirtless again, covered in a faint splatter of paint, and I was still in the nightdress. With the sun baking the back of my neck, I smashed my thighs together and crossed my arms over my chest as his one good eye traveled all the way down to my feet and all the way back up to my hair. I’d sat in the trees again for most of the day, watching him as he prettied up his house, rolling around in the strawberries, and making chain-link crowns out of violets. Snuggling with the fawn and studying his every move.

I was so curious about him, my nameless neighbor.

Half-naked and mostly angry.

He reached for me quickly, a darting movement I barely registered before he had my hand in his, and he was tying my white ribbon too tightly around my wrist.

“Don’t,” he exhaled, his words caught harsh and raw in his chest. “You just don’t know. You have no right.” His eye lifted to mine, face rigid with anger, and he pointed his finger at me. “That’s my flagpole. My pond. Mine.”

I barely heard any of it. I just nodded along, unable to speak, stuck in the exciting minutia of being so close to someone like him. His shadow. His smell. Sweat and wood and sunshine as he glared at me. The soft skin on his neck where his beard was starting to shadow his jaw and the way he swallowed before he moved toward me. The faint beginning of crow’s feet at the corner of his eye and the bright, clover-colored iris behind his dark lashes. The million different colors in his hair, rust and copper and something dark like the dirt if you dug just a couple inches under the surface. The little puckered nub of scar tissue on his shoulder, next to a dot of yellow paint. The tattoo on his arm, the image warped by skin that was damaged not so long ago and barely visible beneath a fresh scar.

I fidgeted, grabbing fistfuls of my nightdress, watching as he turned away and strode three angry steps back to the gate. He paused just outside the garden, crossing his arms over his chest and squinting up at my crooked house with a frown on his face. The house didn’t look much better than I did. Overgrown ivy creeping in through the windows. Balding roof, shingles scattered across the lawn. Peeling paint and sagging porch. The fawn emerged from the corn, appearing between my legs again, and we watched him in silence until he spoke again.

Turning toward me to ask me who was taking care of the house.

“No one.” I looked away and shrugged. “Me.”

“Who’s taking care of you?”

We will each be posting the first few chapters under our personal Fanfiction accounts, as well as our new, shared account: BlueMeadow. Ultimately, all posting will move solely to the new account. The story is complete, and we’re so excited to finally share this with you!

We owe so much to our team, the women who stand behind us and make our words better in every way: LayAtHomeMom, Hadley Hemingway and CarrieZM. All of them have worked so hard for us, giving their time, love, and encouragement. Let’s be honest: we owe them twelve million dollars and a lifetime of devotion.

Many thanks to Mina Rivera for that awesome banner. She’s like a good tattoo artist - we gave her an idea and she gave us something back that was better than we even knew we wanted!

We would also like thank the ladies at TLS for wanting to showcase our story in their Sneak Peek feature! And last but certainly not least, we’d like to extend a huge thank you to you, our readers, for your loyal affection.

Oh! One last thing: this is a picture Bee found on her friend’s Instagram, taken at a tiny art studio in New Orleans. It freakishly has almost every element of our story in it…good luck and have fun!

I’ve followed planetblue fanatically from her early days writing Barefoot in Texas, with her creative, free spirited Bella, and I’ve been impressed by Honeybeemeadows from the moment I read The Other Way, with her vivid imagery and her captivating Edward. Give these ladies a standing ovation for completing their debut story & be sure to put BlueMeadow on alert, so you can follow along with TLS!

TLS Special SNEAK PEEK Feature

The Lemonade Stand has spent years bringing you the best the fandom has to offer, and we are very excited to have the chance to offer you MORE. We’ve watched stories grow and develop from first post through COMPLETE, and now we’re sharing previews of the stories that will soon be your new addiction.

This week, TLS is excited to have the talented writer planetblue, as our guest! She has written classics like Deviant, Channel Five, & Badlands and this lady never fails to surprise us with her creativity. Take a peek at her upcoming story, Edward Takes a Holiday, which intrigues me because it was born of the contest I co-hosted with CarrieZM, called Control.Possess.Seduce!!!

Edward Takes a Holiday
 by planetblue

Summary: The girl’s not going to know what hit her.

~0~0~0~

When I was asked to give a sneak peek of my new story to the lovely ladies here at TLS, the first feelings I experienced were excitement, happiness, and gratitude that they wanted it. All was good in my world.

Until reality set in, in the form of a confusing, nerve-racking cloud that made my head spin as I was completely perplexed about how to discuss this thing I’d written that (to me) is hard to summarize without giving it all away.

With no clues as to what to do or say, I decided to put it on someone else, and have Edward himself tell us about the story since I couldn’t come up with anything (I felt) that was safe to discuss.

PB: Hello, Edward, thanks for sitting down with me. Can I offer you a drink before we start?

Edward: Scotch. Balblair, neat.

PB: I, uh, don’t have that. I have wine?

Edward: An acceptable Malbec?

PB: Er, no. Sparkling white with a screw cap.

Edward: (Shudders) Pass. Let’s just start the inquisition, even though I’m mystified why you wouldn’t be prepared to offer me, the character you created, his preferred beverage.

PB:  Having you here was a last minute decision of panic, I apologize.

Edward: You should always be prepared; it’s not something to be overlooked. That being said, can I offer you one of my Xanax?

PB: Noted, and no, thank you. So, you’re up to a new adventure. What can you tell us about it?

Edward: Nothing, really. Nothing I care to share.

PB: Why not?

Edward: I’m a very private person. If I told you, I’d have to kill you.

PB: If you can’t say anything, why did you agree to do this?

Edward: I find myself agreeing to things I don’t want to do a lot lately. Oh! There you go; it’s about me being forced to go on a holiday. Is that enough?

PB: Not really, but let’s talk about this ‘forced’ thing. Who forced you, and why?

Edward: My brother and his irritating wife. They thought I could use a break. I disagreed, they insisted, so off I went.

PB: I’m picturing you in many different locations…

Edward: Are you, now... (Leaning in) Based on your nervous fidgeting, your obvious attraction to me, and your shallow breathing I’d say that you’re really picturing me naked.

PB: Uh…

Edward: I may or may not wear a bathing suit in this one. Lucky you.

PB: (Swallowing) That works. Anything fun happen on this vacation?

Edward: Loads.

PB: Anything about meeting a girl as mentioned in the very vague, one-sentence summary?

Edward: If that’s how you want to interpret it, sure.

PB: There’s another way?

Edward: When you’re given such little data, it could really be anything, couldn't it? I like the summary, actually, the non-information given. I approve.

PB: I’m not sure readers would agree. They use summaries and sneaks such as these to determine what to read next. The writer (ahem) has a terrible trait of giving nothing away - cryptic summaries, not answering questions like how many chapters to expect, and giving no warnings.

Edward: I can’t speak for the (super cute) author, but I know I prefer to not reveal anything about my activities. I like to remain as anonymous as possible.

PB: If you won’t tell us anything about your holiday, can you tell us how she came up with this idea?

Edward: I believe after I burned Bella’s house down in Crazy Like That, she needed a break from the… crazy. She wrote two other tales for me that she may revisit, but the idea to send me in a more light-hearted direction came from her inability to enter the Control.Possess.Seduce contest since she was a judge. One of the hosts, who is also her lovely beta, Carrie ZM,  asked her what she would do if she could enter, and here we are.

PB: So are you controlling, possessing, or seducing in this story?

Edward: Seducing. Definitely seducing. But there’s a bit of the other two in there, just because of who I am, what I’ve become.

PB: Can you tell us anything else? Maybe about why your brother and sister-in-law thought you needed a break?

Edward: (Sigh) If you insist, I’ll share the discussion we had about it, but that’s all you’re getting from me.

PB: I guess I’ll take what I can get.

“Rosalie and I think you need a break.” He says it really fast; like he’s afraid I’m going to take offense to this. Which of course, I do.

“I don’t need a break, Emmett. There’s no reason for a vacation as long as we have clients.” I pause, suddenly anxious. “We do have clients, do we not?” I look between him and the blonde who acts as our company accountant, and she narrows her eyes at me.

“Of course we do, Edward.”

“Then what’s the problem?”

Emmett clears his throat and perches on the front of his desk, his big hands squeezing the wood. “We feel it’s in the best interest of the business if you take a little rest, that’s all.”

“Have I screwed up? The answer to that is no and your request for a break is no. The business is fine as long as we’re all doing our jobs.”

“Oh hell, Emmett, if you won’t tell him I will. You’re turning into an asshole, Edward. You need a fucking vacation.”

My eyes widen and my hand covers my heart, feigning offense. “An asshole? Me? What in God’s name would a vacation do for the best part of my personality?”

“Your ‘personality’ as you call it is one that has become unpleasant. I’m tired of you growling at me and biting Emmett's head off. You yelled at me just last week because we ran out of coffee.”

“Well how can we run out of coffee? This is Seattle for Christ’s sake. Walk four feet out the door and you’ve run into some dirty grunge hipster’s shop playing World music and charging five dollars for a latte.”

PB: I have to say, they weren’t wrong. You are kind of an asshole.

Edward: Thank you!

PB: Not a compliment… well, I suppose I have to thank you for sharing that meager sneak.

Edward: (Smiling evilly) I might’ve told the author to edit it a bit before I shared it. Can’t have you knowing everything, now can we?

It  has been really fun to watch planetblue grow and develop as a writer. I’ve been a fan from the beginning. She outdoes herself each story and she’s been a TLS favorite from the start. This writer takes a lot of pride in her fan connection and never fails to respond to them. Make sure to put planetblue on alert, so you can follow along with us!

"You mean rash like breaking out in a song-and-dance routine in front of your boss?" Rosalie snickered.

Come Undone by GemmaH
I know everything about Isabella Marie Swan - the girl is an open book - but what she knows about me could be scrawled on a flyleaf, large and untidy, and still have blank space below it. I flip back and forth between happiness at her lack of awareness guilt that she's so much in the dark. She never pushes, never questions. I guess I know she's afraid to ask.

TLS Fics of the Week 9/3- 9/9

Penalty Shot by Edward's Eternal
http://www.fanfiction.net/s/9203413/1/
Recently divorced, Bella struggles to find a new life for her and her son Jake. Enter Edward and his son, Emmett. Used to being alone, finding Bella is an unexpected surprise for Edward. Blending their lives together sometimes requires an extra shot on goal to even things up. A simple, heartwarming story of two single parents finding love again, healing and building a new family. Rated M

Review by Agrutle

Bella Black is trying to start anew after her divorce. Her son Jacob wants to play hockey again so she signs him up for the local kids team. She’s quite literally knocked off her feet by a Cullen, Emmett the rambunctious son of Edward, the coach or FCC as Bella refers to him. Not knowing that he’s the coach she just calls him FCC, Firm Chest Cullen, until Alice tells her he’s the coach.

Edward is attracted to her and she to him but Emmett’s mom shows up after the first practice and Bella assumes that Edward’s married. Lets just say it takes a little bit and a big mix-up to get it through her head that he’s not married and he wants to explore things with her!

"I don't mean to bother you, I just wanted to call and say hello. And see if you had given any thought to Tuesday night. Letting Jake come here? Emmett would love it." His voice was a pleasant hum in my ear.

"It's a nice offer, Edward, but what about dinner? I won't have time to get him home and fed—"

My voice trailed off in uncertainly as I tried to sort out my schedule.

"No worries, it's Tuesday. Esme makes spaghetti every Tuesday. A lot of spaghetti. You could join us if you'd like?"

My stomach twisted. His perfect wife made spaghetti on Tuesdays. Of course she did. And he was being kind and offering to let me come join them.

So his son could have time with his friend.

I closed my eyes at the unexpected burn of unshed tears. I wanted to say no, but remembered how happy Jake had looked at the idea.

For Jake.

I cleared my throat.

"I have to work, but that would be great for Jake, Edward. Thank you. And please thank, um, Esme, for me as well."

See!! Not only does she think he's married but she thinks Esme is his wife! How funny!!  Edward is so confused by Bella’s stand off-ness. She seems to like him but she keeps him at arms length.  He wants much, much closer.

Then I became serious. "And where is your father this evening, Edward? Did you simply not invite him? Since that would have ruined the joke? You know very well I invited you and your wife this evening. I simply assumed her name was Esme. Why do you refer to your mother by her first name?"

His face fell and he stepped forward.

"Well, first, my father is working tonight, at the hospital." He took a deep breath and found my eyes. "And second, and most important … not a joke, Bella. I call her Esme out of habit. She volunteers at the school and the rink and she likes everyone to call her that. She says when I call her mom at school it makes her feel old." He shook his head. "This was not a joke. I swear. My mother wanted to meet you."

I looked at him. "Feels like one to me. Please join your mom in the living room. I'll be in with some wine in a moment." I turned quickly and walked down the hall into the bathroom. I needed a quiet minute to myself to collect my thoughts. Before I could shut the door though, a hand closed around the edge and Edward pushed into the bathroom behind me, closing the door.

"What are you doing?" I gasped.

"Our conversation isn't finished."

I shook my head wearily. "It's fine, Edward. After dinner you can go home and laugh about it with your wife. I get it. I assumed something incorrectly. I will call her myself and apologize."

Edward stared at me. "You really don't know."

"Know what?"

He stepped closer and I backed up into the counter. The bathroom was already small, but with Edward's looming presence it felt tinier than ever. He was so close I could feel the heat of his body and I pushed myself as far away as I could. "I thought you knew; I thought Alice would have said something. There is no wife, Bella."

I gaped at him. "I saw her! She was there that first Saturday. She came into the locker room! Alice said she was Emmett's mother."

He nodded. "Yes. Tanya was there. She comes to the first practice every year and maybe one game."

I shook my head. "I don't understand."

His voice became softer. "She is Emmett's mother. She isn't my wife. We're divorced, Bella. The same as you are. She remarried almost immediately."

These two together are so cute and sweet its about enough to give you a toothache. They are tender, loving and they love the other ones kid. Then there are times where they can set a fire. I’ll leave you with this little bit and then you must go read it!! It’s so good and its complete!

God, no one had ever touched me like Edward. I had never wanted to touch and feel someone so badly. I had never experienced such a deep, burning want for any other man.

My hips shot off the bed, every inch of me needing to be closer to him. Yearning for his touch. Desperate to feel him against me. Inside me.

"Please … Edward … God … please …"

My voice was raspy, pleading, as I keened his name, begged for him to ease the quivering, urgent desire tearing through me.

"I have you, baby."

Then he was there … home. Inside me. Deep and pulsating. We both groaned at the sensation as he stilled, savoring the moment; his eyes locked with mine as we felt the intimacy of being completely joined. He hovered over me, arms resting either side of my head; his eyes dark and hooded. "It's never been like this, Bella. Tell me, baby. Tell me it's never been like this for you," he begged. "The heat … fuck … Bella… the heat."

"Oh God … never."

Shuddering, he thrust forward again, moving in long deep strokes, his rhythm smooth, his eyes never leaving mine. I clung to him, lost in a sea of sensations. His strong arms held me in place, his hands embracing my head as he gazed at me. His body pinned me down as he surged and ebbed; every movement, every thrust met with one of my own as we loved and rocked. He began moving faster, his head dipping into the hollow between my neck and shoulder, his hisses and groans deepening, my name escaping from his lips. The sounds of our lovemaking filled the room: the creak of the mattress, the slip of the soft sheets, our skin, damp with moisture, meeting and parting, his guttural groans and my whimpers mixed with pleading cries, all filled the air.

I shattered around him, soaring and rising, my body arching, twisting and locking down, as I cried out his name. His lips crashed against mine as he roared and plunged one last time, cursing and coming, filling me, before finally ceasing, collapsing on top of me, his head resting on my chest. I wrapped my arms around him, holding him tight, loving how he felt on top of me, knowing I had only a short time to enjoy it.

Our chests rose and fell in heavy panting breaths. He pulled himself up, leaning over, kissing me. Soft, adoring sweet caresses of his lips and tongue that spoke so loudly without making a sound. He shifted and rolled, encasing me in his arms, keeping me tucked into his chest as we laid entwined. His lips nuzzled and kissed, his fingers drawing small gentle circles on my back as we slowly recovered. I kept my head tucked under his chin, my mouth leaving small kisses on his chest, my hands pressed into his warm skin, drinking in the delicious feeling of being completely loved. I had never experienced anything so wonderful before. I closed my eyes, reveling in the closeness and the utter completion I felt with this man.

Barefoot in Texas by planetblue
I watch her jumping, prancing, her hands empty but taking pictures. Her feet bare on the hot Texas earth. Everything in my life that was planned to a T just whirled away in a ruffled skirt.

These Vacant Bones by struckatthesky
His darkness, the same darkness in me, was right there in his eyes. No one else notices the shadows that make toothy smiles uncomfortable. They only see brightness. Edward's light is as dull as mine, but in worlds like ours, that dimness is the center of our universe. (AH, M, ExB)

Roar Like a Lion by counselor
1936, Edward and Jasper work as loggers. They work hard and play harder. Bella and Jacob come to the camp to open the school. Problem is the unmarried men have a great time running off the teachers. When Edward sees Bella a roar starts to build inside. She's everything he can't stand. And he's pretty despicable. Trouble.

The Life Aquatic by coldplaywhore
Life happens when you least expect it, and puts you on a course that you never planned, into a future you never even imagined that you wanted. This is the story of girl meets boy, meets boy... aka, his son. Rated M

Complicated by LyricalKris
High school relationships are always more complicated than they should be. Usually, those complications are made up of the drama that is teenage life. Sometimes... it's really complicated. Edward and Bella were already there before the surprise of their young lives threw them into a life they weren't remotely prepared for.

Harkham's Case by Scarlettplay
AH, OOC. B/E. "If it's not Asperger's, then what is it?" Bella asked. Alice paused before answering, "We don't know what he has. He was the first documented case. For now, he's called Harkham's Case number one." Bella smiled as a tear leaked out. "Okay." But nothing was. This changed everything. Rated M for adult content even though it starts out in high school.

The Gap by capitalab
Their first encounter is brief, minute, insignificant, forgettable. At least it should be. Edward and Bella live very different lives, but a chance encounter forces them to reexamine everything they thought they wanted.
